Đề tài: Nghiên cứu ứng dụng Google Maps trong xây dựng website thông tin phòng cháy chữa cháy trên địa bàn thành phố Hà Nội.
Website hỗ trợ hiển thị dữ liệu không gian PCCC, tra cứu nhanh vị trí và cung cấp nội dung hướng dẫn kỹ năng xử lý tình huống cháy nổ.
In practice, the command and coordination of forces responding to incidents still sometimes face difficulties in quickly identifying the locations of fire hydrants, determining the shortest routes for fire engines, or providing an overall assessment of area risks. Therefore, the development of an online information system integrated with an intelligent digital map is essential.
The topic “Research on the Application of Google Maps in Building a Fire Prevention and Fighting Information Website in Hanoi” is carried out with the aim of leveraging the powerful features of digital mapping platforms to address these challenges. It not only contributes to improving management efficiency but also represents a significant step forward in applying technology to smart urban management.
Fire Safety Equipment
- Digitize and accurately map the coordinates of fire-fighting infrastructure (e.g., pipeline systems, fire hydrant networks, and locations of fire police units).
- Design an intuitive interface with data clustering features to monitor the distribution density of fire-fighting facilities across districts.
- Integrate with online public services such as vehicle inspection registration, provision of certified equipment, and training and education information.
Fire Safety Training
- Map-related protocols and application programming interfaces (Google Maps API), and Geographic Information Systems (WebGIS).
- Data management processes and fire protection infrastructure systems in urban areas.
- Spatial scope: Data collection and map testing within Hanoi City (including water supply stations, road networks, facilities of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting, and nearby units).
- Content scope: The study focuses on software design (website), database development, and user interface design, without going into the development of hardware devices.
Consulting and Design
- Complies with the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting (amended and supplemented in 2013) regarding responsibilities in organizing and managing specialized forces and equipment.
- Adheres to National Technical Regulations, particularly QCVN 06:2022/BXD on fire safety for buildings and structures, which clearly stipulates flow rate, pressure, and spacing requirements for external fire-fighting water supply networks (hydrants, outlets). The website is developed as a tool to digitize and monitor compliance with these regulations in real-world conditions.
- Aligns with Government initiatives and the Ministry of Public Security’s orientation toward promoting information technology application and building e-government within the People’s Public Security forces.
Fire Prevention Refresher Course
- Maps JavaScript API: This is the core tool that enables embedding Google’s base map into a web application. It allows developers to overlay domain-specific data layers on top of the standard traffic map. Using this API, the system can accurately place markers representing fire protection infrastructure or draw lines and polygons (polylines/polygons) to depict water supply pipelines.
- Marker Clustering: A crucial feature from a user interface perspective. In a large city like Hanoi, there are thousands of hydrants and facilities to manage. Displaying all of them simultaneously would cause visual clutter and system overload. This tool automatically groups nearby points into a single cluster (e.g., a circle displaying the number 50 in the Cau Giay district). When users zoom in, these clusters split into individual coordinates, allowing commanders to analyze infrastructure distribution density at different levels: citywide → district → ward/commune.
